Canine Volunteer Blood Donor

When we are in need blood/PLASMA during an emergency situation, we may call on you to bring your pet in to donate life-saving blood. There is never an obligation to participate and depending on the number of available volunteers, the likelihood of us calling upon your pet for help may be low. we appreciate your willingness to help and thanks for signing up to save a life!

IN ORDER TO QUALIFY AS A VOLUNTEER BLOOD DONOR, YOUR DOG MUST:

Must be an existing Stockton Vet patient
Weigh 50lbs+
Be between 2-8 years old
Have received negative heartworm & Lyme test results in the last 6 months (we will verify this at time of need)
Have no serious pre-existing conditions such as cancer or an infection
Generally be available at any moment’s notice
